I chose this app because it is one of the few that allow you to photograph and incorporate your existing paper-based recipes into your digital collection. The web-based capture option works great for many of the most popular recipe sites but not all. If the developers could improve this the app would get 5 stars. To be fair, they do have a work around to copy recipes from non-supported sites but it is clunky.
Another small improvement would be the ability to add recipes directly from your photo-roll rather than just through the camera. Otherwise, a great app that has helped my organize recipes from a variety of sources.
This app does away with the giant recipe box, the piles of things torn from magazines and the recipes printed from the Internet! So easy to use! I love taking pictures of the recipe, including the finished product. It syncs from iPad to phone so I can look up recipes from the store. You can send to friends easily. The app doesnt "sleep" when you are using it either. This is the final solution. No one is ever going to enter every recipe by ingredient for query. This is perfect. Would be great if it would let me create and save menus with the recipes.
Seriously versatile. Beyond useful. I used it all throughout the Christmas baking and party season. Loading recipes is simple. Searches are easy. Ive finally recycled my folder of recipe scraps. It took less than an hour to get everything loaded. I especially like the add option when the website is integrated. Ive recommended this app to several friends.
Love the app. Easy to use and easy to find recipes. Only thing they dont have is a section for salads.

Some bad moments
App constantly begs me to sign up for backups. Most of the screen is wasted because I dont do photos. You are better off using text files to organize recipes rather than using this frustrating app.
This is very expensive for an app that allows only pics. You cant type the recipe you have to take a pic !
You made a good program and I love it! I have a small restaurant and I do the desserts everyday. I cant keep all the recipes in my mind. Looking from papers is difficult. I cant carry them everywhere. So your app is my assistant everyday
If it would let me put in 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 then I would give it a 5, but when I put in 1/2 tsp of salt it changes it to one. Fix that and I am totally in.
I use it constantly at home, in the store (checking ingredients), ect. The sync is genius, GREAT JOB!
Love this app,is there going to be a way to do instant import from a website recipe? Thats the only suggestion I have to otherwise great app
